HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED IF YOU ARE CORRECTLY WASHING YOUR GIRDLE?
To prolong the life of your girdle, you must have a correct and adequate care when using and washing it. That is why I am going to leave you some tips so that you can clean both your shaping and reducing girdle correctly.
1. Use mild soap
Use mild soap with Neutral pH You can also use the shampoo of your choice, add warm water until you get soapy water that will be perfect for cleaning your girdle without damaging it. Do not use any type of bleach, as they are very strong and will damage the fabric of your girdle.
2. Hand wash
Using a clean towel, soak it in the soapy water and gently wipe it over the girdle, until the odor and dry sweat are completely removed. Remember not to use a washing machine and brushes because they can damage the fabric and / or the material of your girdle.
3. Don't squeeze
The best way to remove the excess water is to take a dry towel and press the strip against the towel so that it absorbs as much water as possible, so that when it is put to dry, the process is shorter and does not take on bad odors.
4. Use Fresh Air
Allow fresh air to dry the garment naturally, avoid direct sun and dryers, as the heat it emits can shrink it and damage the garment.
5. To save them
Once dry, do not iron it! Doing so will permanently damage your girdle. Find a clean and cool place to store it, it can be in one of your drawers. For example, when I order my girdle #FajasCanela she came in a bag, which I kept to store there while I don't use it
